Sabba

Pali MO Hare Horner Punnaji Bodhi Rhys Davids (Mrs)Rhys Davids Thanissaro Walshe Woodward
sabba The All Hare universality Punnaji all Rhys Davids (Mrs)Rhys Davids the All Walshe Woodward
Pali Text Society, Pali English Dictionary:

sabba: [Vedic sarva=Av. haurva (complete); ]

PED Online: Sabba

see: The All. With reference to the Mulapariyaya, however -- and I have no authority for this other than as the way I learned this from certain of my teachers whose credentials it would be very hard to check -- I believe somehow this word has been substituted for "Sassata" [Vedic: .sa..svat] eternal, perpetual; sassata-di.t.thi being eternalism, the doctrine that soul and world are eternal. This would fit better in this place...that is, in the sequence: ekatta, oneness; nanatta, diversity; s.; and Nibbana.
