BD= Links to materials on BuddhaDust
If the Pali Text Society or Wisdom Publications sutta name is a link, that version of the sutta is contained on this or another site and the link is to that version.
Page numbers following the Pali name are references to the Pali Text Society edition of the Pali.
PTS = Pali Text Society edition: The Collection of The Middle Length Sayings, Translated by I.B. Horner, 3 Volumes
WP = Wisdom Publications edition: The Middle Length Discourses of the Buddha, Translated by Bhikkhu Nanamoli and Bhikkhu Bodhi
ATI = Link to the Access to Insight version
A complete set of translations of the Majjhima, by a Sister Upalavanna, is located on MettaNet Lanka at The Majjhima Nikaya. This translation is interesting as a matter of providing an ear closer to the original ground (for the same reason, serious students should not neglect the Pali Text Society translations, especially the early ones, for their use of an English that was closer to the way Pali is used than is the American English of today)...but it suffers from the translators poor English.
